The Wedding of Mera & Walied

The process of choosing a bridal boutique was overwhelming for me as I knew what type of styles and designers and overall Bridal experience that I wanted. After much thought and research, I chose to schedule an appointment with Bridal and Formal. I had read reviews and based on that had a few concerns with the area to try on dresses. However, after I called and talked to someone I was able to book a private dressing room which fit my needs. I chose Bridal and Formal because they had a diverse variety of dresses and designers and I wanted to have a successful time finding my dress that weekend; as I had my sisters traveling from Nashville and my parents traveling from Indiana to be there for me to go dress shopping. So nonetheless, I was determined that I wanted to choose a place that I could likely find my dream dress and find it that WEEKEND. I am such a perfectionist and when it came to my wedding dress, you can only imagine how high my expectations were. I had such a fun time shopping for my wedding dress. That weekend was filled with a wide range of emotions and my consultant, Iris made me feel so special and comfortable. She was so attentive, sweet, understanding and patient. She listened to my vision and my concerns and worked to assist me to find what i wanted. My family had a blast with Iris; she made us all so excited and instantly we all connected with her. I was so anxious about committing to a dress and Iris’s attitude and personality made me at ease. As someone who pays attention to detail, and seeks as close to perfection as I can get; I can wholeheartedly say that Bridal and Formal met my expectations. They accommodated me by reserving a private dressing room. For a few minutes I was overwhelmed with being sent to the stock room to choose dresses but after a few short minutes I was greeted by Iris to check in with me and the overwhelming feelings turned into excitement and curiosity to look at dresses in the stockroom. my dress arrived on time and actually even several weeks before I was expecting it! Bridal and Formal provided a list of seamstresses as I lived out of town and I was grateful that they had a list of seamstresses to choose from in different locations. I would recommend to any bride to shop at Bridal and Formal.

My consultant, Iris, made me feel so special and comfortable. she was so attentive, sweet, understanding and patient. She listened to my vision and my concerns and worked to assist me to find what I wanted. My family had a blast with Iris. She made us all so excited and instantly we all connected with her. She was friendly, very knowledgeable and eager to find me what matched my vision. She listened when I wanted a different belt and once i told her what I was looking foe she would amaze me with what she would bring back and it would be exactly what I had envisioned. I was so anxious about committing to a dress and Iris’ attitude and personality made me at ease. I had a negative experience with another Bride in the dresses room next to me kept going into my fitting room and taking dress out of my fitting that were in my top choices pile. Iris immediately handled the situation. Iris was so friendly and outgoing. She is knowledgeable of designers and dresses and was wonderful to work with. She didn’t rush me and allowed me to try on the dress I said yes to one final time before I made a final decision. She took her time helping me get the dressed on and off and made my family have a pleasant time in the process. Iris will forever be a part my wedding preparation memories.

One of my favorite memories of my wedding day was getting ready in my bridal suite with my MUA Jessica and my amazing Mother and Sister. It was a special time and I loved having them and all my best friends/bridesmaids taking pictures with me and just having a fun time. Another sacred and precious memory is my Father walking me into the wedding and giving me to my husband. Lastley my first dane where my husband made it more memorable when he literally swept me off my feet!

Sincerely,

Mera E.
