A Very Special Trip To PARIS by Debra Moreland

Sunday, March 12, 2017

On Wednesday, March 8th our sales consultants were invited by Debra Moreland to take a tour of Paris by Debra Moreland to see how her veils, headpieces and jewelry are put together to create heirloom pieces to be worn again and again and to be handed down for generations to come.

Take a walk with us through Debra’s design studio to get an exclusive look from Bridal and Formal!

This is Debra’s work space where she has her hands in a couple different projects at once, bringing her sketches and her ideas to life.

We were able to get a sneak peak at some of her new designs that she just finished and will be debut at the New York Bridal Market this Spring.

In this room, we were able to see all the different molds, painting techniques and sculpting that takes place to create her unique and exquisite pieces.

Each piece is then set out delicately for an extensive quality control check. Each piece is looked over very carefully and compared to the original piece that Debra created herself. This process ensures that the customer gets exactly what she picked out from the sample in our salon.

We were fortunate enough to see some of the pieces and veils being handmade and hand sewn together.
PARIS by Debra Moreland accepts only individuals with degrees in Fine Art into the apprenticeship program. Once apprentices complete the extensive program, they earn the title of Master Artisan, which allows them to attach their name — in the form of a signature charm — to each piece they create using PARIS’ original prototypes.

We hope you have enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes just as much as we did!
