Most couples prefer to marry during the lovely months of spring and early summer — but personally, I think winter weddings are the most enchanting of all.
But of all the lovely winter weddings I’ve seen, nothing can top this one!
On one of their first dates, blogger Sarah Vickers and her then-boyfriend, Kiel Patrick, planted a Christmas tree. It was a romantic moment, but little did they know that it would blossom into something even more magical.
Fast-forward fifteen years, and Sarah and Kiel have gotten married — but they didn’t have their wedding at any old event space.
To make it truly personal, the happy couple went back to the Christmas tree farm in Rhode Island where they’d had that beautiful date so long ago. Their wedding was truly one-of-a-kind, just like this quirky couple’s unique engagement rings.
Their wedding was stunning with plenty of woodsy, rustic charm and some seriously beautiful scenery.

For their first date, Sarah and Kiel’s journeyed to the very romantic Henry’s Christmas Tree Farm in Hope, Rhode Island.
That wintery farm would always hold a very special place in the couple’s heart — so much so, that they would return for a very special occasion…
On the very same farm, fifteen years later, the happy couple exchanged vows!
Their photographs capture a truly magical winter wedding.
The holiday season has always been special to this couple, so the setting was a perfect reflection of that.
Kiel even proposed to Sarah during the winter — specifically on New Year’s Eve in 2014 in front of this gorgeous castle.
And the ring? “Forevergreen!”
About a year after that, they tied the knot at the tree farm in a lovely, personal ceremony.
With its rustic charm and wintery magic, the ceremony proved to be absolutely gorgeous.
And, of course, the couple’s happiness makes it all the more romantic!
“In this here moment I was the happiest I had ever been in my entire life,” Kiel said.
“This is the me I always want to be. Not for me but for her, because she deserves the happiest man I can be.”
And of course there were plenty of appropriate treats.
If there’s one thing this happy couple knows how to do, it’s make things beautiful, and their wedding proves that!
