The Wedding of Christina & Zach

I had a perfect day from beginning to end!

Our wedding was on September 16, 2017, at my family’s property in Mount Washington, Kentucky. I had the most perfect day from beginning to end! My morning was calm and spent with my bridesmaids getting ready, drinking mimosas and having fun! I had a first look with my dad and then fiance in my parent’s backyard! The wedding party plus our parents all rode in a party bus to take photos at a local park. Excitement and nerves built as we drove to the wedding location! I couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle and marry my forever best friend! My dad built the arbor we got married under and is now something we can treasure forever as it is in our backyard with a swing hanging from it. Dad and I were driven to the aisle in a 1935 Ford which was a total surprise to all our guests! We “buried the bourbon” which southern tradition says to do exactly one month before the wedding day to bring good weather – and it sure did! Cocktail hour was spent taking family photos – some with our dog and digging up the bottle of bourbon. The reception was magical – we had market lights strung in a big white tent, the gorgeous florals from Magnolia’s, delicious food from Crushed Ice Catering, so many personalized details like blankets “to have and to hold, in case you get cold” and Muth’s modjeskas for favors. I can’t believe how amazing our DJ – Jason with Master’s of Music – was! He kept the dance floor packed all…night…long! We even had a surprise firework show at the end of the night! #LoveLaughLarson
Kymberly was amazing, and really appreciate her spending so much time in helping me select my dream dress! I had an amazing experience! I came to the store on a Monday with my mom and mamaw and found my dream dress! I was so lucky to have a great consultant who helped me for almost two hours! I have a large chest, and was nervous about shopping and not being able to find anything – but was able to because of the great care I received! Kymberly was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came time to select and try on dresses. She even picked the perfect belt!
