The Wedding of Kaitlyn & Ryan

Being surrounded by so many people we love made the day unforgettable!

Our wedding day was perfect! We had a bit of a destination wedding because all of our guests were from out of state and traveled to be with us on that day. Unfortunately leading up to the wedding day was stressful! Two weeks before our wedding, Hurricane Irma hit the island. The resort did not even reopen until the Tuesday before my wedding. The damage around the island was heartbreaking but the resort made sure our stay and wedding were perfect. They worked endlessly to ensure the courtyard was beautiful and they cleaned/repaired enough rooms for all our guests to stay. The morning of the wedding it poured the rain and at the time of the ceremony, there was a 40% chance of rain. So 2 hours prior to the ceremony, I had to decide if we were going to go through with the ceremony outside or move it inside. After talking with Bridesmaids and family, we decided to risk it outside. It paid off and the weather was PERFECT!! My husband and I chose to do a private first look before the ceremony and it helped with all the nerves while giving us a private moment to ourselves to really think about the day and enjoy the moment. We had a childhood friend of ours perform the ceremony and wrote our own vows so it was unique to us which made it that much more special! The reception was the most fun we have ever had! The food was delicious and we celebrated the whole day singing Country Roads (a WVU tradition) with family and friends. Being surrounded by so many people we love who traveled to be with us made the day unforgettable!
Bridal and Formal were amazing!! It was the first (and ended up being the only) place I went to find a dress. I had an appointment at 9 AM on a Saturday and as soon as I walked in everyone was so welcoming. Kymberly was my consultant and she made the experience. I could never have found my dress without her! She listened to what I wanted and looked at pictures of the venue to know what would work best. More than anything, she was honest! She told me when a dress was too glitzy/overwhelming for me and when it was too plain/simple for my venue. The 8th dress I tried on was the ONE! As soon as I walked out in the dress, everyone knew it. It was a beautiful Enzoani gown and because they were there for a trunk show Kymberly worked hard to make sure I was able to get some modifications and the best price possible. I couldn’t believe I had found the dress but was a bit overwhelmed since it is such a big decision. Kymberly did not push me to make the purchase right then. She told me to go have lunch and think about it. I was back in less than an hour to get MY dress. I would recommend Bridal & Formal and Kymberly to anyone! They made the whole wedding dress process special, fun, and easy!
Kymberly is AMAZING!!! I would never have found my dress without her. She was fun, upbeat, and gave me her honest opinion about each dress. It is overwhelming seeing so many dresses and then the magnitude of finding “THE DRESS” but Kymberly made it easy! I brought my mom and sister with me. She let us look through a few racks pointing out which ones were in our price range and then she pulled a few dresses for me to try. The first dress she pulled for me ended up being the front-runner until my sister looked through the Enzoani dresses that were there for the trunk show. My sister pulled a strapless dress with detachable sleeves. I had been adamant that I did not like strapless dresses for me but Kymberly encouraged me to just try it saying the silhouette would be beautiful on me and the sweetheart neckline would make it more delicate than a regular strapless dress. She was right! Less than 2 hours after I arrived, I had found the dress and loved everything about it. I would never have considered it without Kymberly’s help and knowing that I could trust her opinion.
