Our Wedding Day Was Perfect!
I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses at Bridal and Formal. The bridal consultant that I worked with was Norma. She had my mom and I pulling dresses that we thought were in my style and some outside of my style. I was between a few dresses and then another consultant walked by and pulled a dress from the Maggie Sottero trunk show that she thought I would like. I loved the dress and it ended up being the dress that I bought! When I picked up my dress, I had help with trying on veils and jewelry to complete my look. I loved the veil and ended up purchasing that from Bridal and Formal as well!
Norma had knowledge of the dresses and was helpful when we were pulling dresses. I liked that she had us pick out some dresses outside of my style because it made sure I tried on a full range of dresses.
My wedding day was perfect! The girls got ready at my parent’s house with breakfast and mimosas. We had make-up artists and hair stylists at the house to help us. I opened a gift from Alex and he surprised me with two wedding bands! Our first look was in Alex’s parent’s backyard. Alex was emotional and it was a perfect moment. Pictures before the ceremony took place at Spring Grove Cemetery then we headed to St William Church for the ceremony. During the ceremony, we lit a unity candle. As we walked to the candle, my maid of honor had stepped on my veil and my head sort of yanked backward. It could have been an embarrassing moment for some brides, but I laughed it off and it will be a moment we will never forget! The reception was at The Woodlands and our DJ had everyone dancing the night away! It will be a day we will never forget!
