Our wedding day was a perfect blend of two cultures.

By the time I got to your store, I had been to probably over 10 places all over the US. I had tried on so many dresses and my mom and I felt exhausted! We had driven all the way from Columbus because we had heard about the bridal district and by the time we got to you, I was feeling like I was not going to find what I wanted. The problem was, I had something very specific in mind and any dress that matched that was always over budget (Ugh!).
I loved my experience at Bridal and Formal because it was quick, to the point, and just the perfect amount of nudge I needed. I was reminded from the start that I could not wait any longer to pick my dress. I was also advised that the more I tried on, the less helpful it would be. So she asked me about my budget, my style, and got to work. The best part was, I already had a dress in mind (that I had tried on somewhere else)- but it was over budget! So after trying 3 different ones on, she realized that my heart was already set on the striped dress. She asked me to give her a few minutes, walked away, and came back with the offer for the dress I wanted UNDER my budget! YAAY! We were so quick and excited that my mom did not even realize what was happening at first. Again, it was just the nudge and help I needed 🙂

My wedding day was a perfect blend of two cultures. I am from Venezuela and my husband is from Ohio. We got married at Urban Artifact- his brother is the brewmaster there, so it was a perfect choice. One of my favorite parts of the whole day was that most of the details of our wedding were made by friends and family. My mom made the flowers from paper, my parents made the ceremony arch, my friend made the invites and seating chart (with a Harry Potter map theme!), my aunt made the dessert table, and my friend made O-H cake toppers.
Our ceremony was in both English and Spanish, in order to help everyone feel included. Our reception was just so much fun! Perfect days DJ did an amazing job at playing music from both cultures- our dance floor was never ever empty (which was my goal!). There was so much love, happiness, and we danced the night away.
