It Was A Perfect Day!
My wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. Matt and I got married in a highrise in downtown Indianapolis. Region Tower was a dream venue. The wedding was outside on a terrace overlooking the Indianapolis skyline. The event was a very formal one with a very modern, elegant feel. With black and silver decor and nothing but candles and “bling” as far as the eye could see, it was an event that matched my personality. After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, we moved inside for dinner and then came back outside for a reception under the stars. We rounded out the night with a late night snack of Kilroy’s breadsticks (an Indianapolis favorite) and a sparkler dance. It was the perfect day.
I came into Bridal & Formal with a pretty good idea of what I wanted. This was actually my first time trying on dresses and Bridal & Formal was my first stop for the day. I knew I didn’t want strapless and I knew I wanted beading from head to toe. After trying on a few dresses that just weren’t cutting it, my future sister-in-law found a strapless, beaded dress on the rack for a different client. We asked my consultant, Kayla, if we could pull it and try it on. Kayla assured us we could attach straps. I tried the dress on and knew it was the one for me. It was a beautiful House of Wu dress beaded head to toe. Kayla found sheer, beaded straps that she tucked into the dress so I could see what it looked like. She then pinned my hair up and added a hairpiece and veil and that was it. I knew I had found the dress of my dreams! Kayla was such a big help. I wouldn’t have even been interested in trying on a strapless dress because I knew that wasn’t the style I wanted. Kayla was quick on her feet and was able to suggest and pull the perfect straps to add to the dress! She also added the hairpiece that pulled the entire look together.
