Everything Was Amazing!
Our day started at 8:00 am with some mimosas in hand. Each of my girls got their hair and makeup done, and they were beautiful. After getting my hair and makeup done, I felt so beautiful. It was the best feeling, but I knew better feelings were going to happen later on that day. We got dressed and were on the party bus that took us to Mt. Airy park for my soon to be husband’s reveal. We got to the park, and us girls took pictures until the guys showed up in the party bus. When they arrived, Tyler went to the gazebo while I did the first look with my son. Then I did my reveal with Tyler. We were turned away from each other, back to back, with his eyes closed. He turned around so we could kiss, with his eyes still closed, then it was time for him to open his eyes and his face was amazing! We took more bridal pictures; then we headed to the church for my dad’s reveal. When we arrived at the church, my dad was in the aisle of the church, and I walked up to him, tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around and couldn’t believe how pretty I looked. After our reveal, we did lots of family pictures before the ceremony. After the service, we did more photos and then headed to the reception. We arrived at the reception, and the party was underway. We did the first dance, the toasts, cutting the cake and then a lot of dancing. We finished the night with more dancing and late night pizza.
When I went to try on dresses, it was my second day of dress shopping. I had found one that I already loved, but something told me to continue at Bridal and Formal. My consultant was the sweetest lady ever. She was working with everything I was looking, and she let my girls continuously pick out dresses. She allowed us to switch to a better mirror for better lighting even though it was a busy day. I was hesitant about trying this dress on, but she kept telling me to try it on, it will be gorgeous and what do you know, I tried it on, and tears filed everyone’s eyes. After we admired the dress, she got me all the accessories, which I ended up getting a headband that matched perfectly with my dress. We also ordered our bridesmaids here, and my stepmom also ordered her dress here too. Everything was terrific from Bridal and Formal!
