Bridal and Formal is a family-owned business that started as a corner store in Cincinnati, Ohio. We began our journey in 1969 with only two employees. We have grown to be one of the largest bridal salons in the country. Our store is now located in the heart of The Reading Bridal District, spanning an entire city block. Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for brides everywhere, carrying over 25 bridal collections and 20 bridesmaid collections. We also offer an outstanding selection of mother of the bride, and junior bridesmaids’ dresses, attracting brides from all over the world. We look forward to making your wedding day vision come to life.
Though we prefer our brides to schedule an appointment, we allow walk-ins on most days.
Yes, you can check on the status or delivery of your order. There are two ways you can do this. We have a text line, (513) 259-2274, that you can reach out to us with, and you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide your first and last name and what you want to check on. I.E., Bridal gown, accessories, Bridesmaids, or Mothers.
Though we do not offer in-store alterations, we provide a recommended list of skilled seamstresses in various areas.
Yes, but within reason. We allow champagne at the appointment, but it is not permitted on the main floor with all the gowns. Our store does not allow food or juice to mix with champagne. We ask that only clear liquids with a tight-fitting lid be brought in.
We carry a wide range of prom/homecoming/special occasion gowns that are all off the rack, and all sales are final when purchasing.
Our orderable bridal gowns start around $1000 and can go up to about $9,000. We also have bridal gowns you can purchase off the rack that starts around $400 and go up from there.
Preferably you should purchase your accessories when you select your wedding gown. Our accessories take approximately 12-16 weeks, though in some cases, rush fees are available for earlier delivery times.
A trunk show is where we feature a designer’s new collection that is not in stores yet. Typically, these new gowns will only be in our store for a weekend, Friday through Sunday. Then they are shipped back out to another store for the following weekend. In some cases, brides get the privilege of working closely with the designer, making your experience even more unforgettable.
